Is your restaurant BYOB?

Since we are a wine bar with over 30 wines by the glass and another 23 by the bottle, we do prefer that you order from the selections that we have put together.  However, we understand that many of our customers have special bottles that they would like to bring for celebratory meal.  We do allow 750 ml bottles on the dining room side only.  There is a $15 corkage fee per bottle.  We do not allow beer, liquor bottles, etc.

Do you sell Wine To Go?

Unfortunately we do not.  Restaurants require a specific license to do so.  If you are dining with us and order a bottle but cannot finish it, we will certainly wrap it up and you can take the remainder home with you.

Do I need a reservation?

While we do accept reservations, we also have a first come first serve bar area with high tops and booths.  Our take is that it is better safe than sorry.  Make a reservation via call-in, our website or Open Table.

Can I request a table?

Absolutely!!! In fact we encourage you to make requests.  We try to accommodate all requests as best we can and make your experience that much better.  So whether you would need a booth in the bar area, a table outside, table 31 or a high top, if you ask we will try our very best to make it happen.

Are you pet friendly?

Yep!  We allow dogs at our outside tables.

Do you deliver?

We currently offer delivery on GrubHub and Caviar.  You can also call us directly and pick your food up.

Do you serve only wine?

Nope!  Besides our extensive wine list, we have 12 rotating draft beers, bottled beers, a full bar and cocktail menu.

Do you have Happy Hour?

We do and it's DAILY (yep, even on the weekends) from 4:30-7:30pm.  We offer a separate Happy Hour menu if you sit outside, or in the Cooper's bar area.  We do not offer Happy Hour in the dining room.

Do you have Gluten Free items?

We sure do.  Roughly a 1/3 of our food menu is Gluten Free.  We do not however offer Gluten Free pizza.

Where do I park?

Behind our restaurant is a pay lot called Lot C.  There is also the parking lot across from the Post Office called Lot B, a parking lot off of Green Lane and parking at Venice Island off of Cotton St.  Lastly there is street parking.  Please be aware that if you park on Main Street, it is metered parking until 8pm and free on Sundays.

Do you have a private area for events?

While the room is not completely private, we do have the space to reserve.  We have hosted a variety of different parties and events from bridal and baby showers to birthday and holiday parties.  Please reach out to Maureen at 215-483-0444 ext 102 or email at maureen.jakesrestaurant@gmail.com.
